If there are more than an absolute maximum of 2 billion of your fellows attempting to scratch out a living on a depleted Mother Earth, we were too selfish and short-sighted to limit our reproduction to single child families in 2015. But, then, Population Density Stress from extreme human over-population has probably already so sickened and suppressed the reproductive potential of your potential parents that you don't exist.
Will anyone be there in your generation to read this letter? My apologies but my net reproduction was 0.5 and I'm an only-child. I did what I could for your survival and Mother Earth. Mother Earth really was a lovely place before we thoughtlessly covered Her with our one species and devoured Her very being in the process. I grieve for you and will try to do what I can from the next dimension in your behalf.
