Dear future spawn of mine,

Sorry about the predicament we put you in.

I know sorry won't stop the dryer longer droughts or reclaim the billions of acres of arid wasteland. Sorry won't calm the maniacal fervor of the superstorms you have to cope with. Simply put too many of us have a sorry and selfish mentality.

To be honest people of our generation would rather cruise in style with their fossil fuel powered vehicular behemoths than give two craps about the environment. It was all made crystal clear when we figured out new ways to rape the land for its oil and gas reserves. Gas prices dropped and SUV and Truck sales spiked. There were a few good hearted people with a genuine concern for the environment but they were easily drowned out by corporations and their fabricated "scientific" studies. For every one person that took up bicycling to work two more took up driving because that one person being off the road made driving slightly more bearable.

I gotta go. I've got an idea for a poster design that I need to sketch out.

Dub deuces. Oh and don't be having babies like rabbits. Save some resources for other families to enjoy. Here is a novel idea, save some resources for all other species living on this world!
